Dear SOLACE Members,

Ashton, the 19-month-old grandson of a SOLACE member attorney, has recently been diagnosed with a terrifying dramatic life changing and shortening illness known as Osteopetrosis. The family just received hopeful news of a match and possible life saving bone marrow transplant which will hopefully occur this month, October, at Children's Hospital in New Orleans.

SOLACE REQUEST: There will be a bone marrow donor drive for Ashton this Saturday, Oct. 11, sponsored in part by Baton Rouge’s Trinity Lutheran Church, at Trinity Oaks, 15160 S. Harrell's Ferry in Baton Rouge. Donors have to be healthy and between ages 18 and 44.
