BR Bar Foundation establishes Disaster Relief Fund to aid flood-impacted attorneys across South Louisiana In response to recent flooding in South Louisiana, the Baton Rouge Bar Foundation has established a Disaster Fund to assist all Louisiana attorneys whose offices and homes have been flooded. The Disaster Fund will provide much-needed grants to Louisiana lawyers to assist them in the aftermath of the historic August 2016 flooding. Your tax-deductible donation will help impacted Louisiana lawyers who live and/or practice in one of the parishes qualifying for federal assistance as a result of the August flooding. A broad-based committee of lawyers from South Louisiana will review the applications and make decisions regarding grants.
