Riviera Maya, Mexico.


The biggest challenge facing attorneys today:

Time management.


Family:

I have a wonderful husband and five children. I have three children and two step-children who I loave dearly. My parents and brother live in Ville Platte and are very close to me.


If you could be anyone else for a day, who would you be?

That is a very difficult question for me. Probably a UN council member, because it would be interesting to have insight about international political, social and humanitarian affairs.


Culinary talent:

Cajun cuisine.


What is the best thing about living in Baton Rouge?

The best thing about living in Baton Rouge is that there are many family activities and wonderful church communities. Plus we are a close distance to lakes and recreation.


Favorite restaurant:

Trenasse in New Orleans. Their signature Stinky's Stew is the best.


Board/Committees I serve on:

I do not serve on any Boards or Committees outside of my job and family life. I am co-chair of a committee of seven at home.


Favorite law school memory:

My favorite law school memory is touring Angola Penitentiary.

Education:

I graduated from LSU Law Center in 2001. I obtained my bachelor's degree in Business and Risk Management from UL at Lafayette.


Suggestions for young lawyers:

My advice to young lawyers is that you don't have to compromise your beliefs and integrity in order to be a great advocate for your client.


If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be?

If I could go anywhere in the world it would be Greece because of its history.


How do you begin your workday?

I begin my workday with a cup of Community coffee and my "To do" list.

What most people know know about me:

What most people don't know about me is that I am from the small Cajun town of Ville Platte, located in Evangeline Parish.
