BRBA Bench Bar Conference.


What did you learn from your legal mentor?

Everything. My mentor, Mike Patterson, has taught me more than I can write in a few short sentences. He has taught me to be courteous and professional to all attorneys, (i.e, to play well with others in the sandbox), and the importance of being active in the bar.


If you weren't an attorney, what profession do you think you would be in?

Dog walker. 


If I had more time, I would:

Form a non-profit organization in Baton Rouge to rescue Boston Terriers.


Community involvement:

BRBA Bench Bar Conference Committee, BRBA Softball Committee, LSBA Legislation Committee, Holiday Star Project, Food Bank, Girl Scouts of America, Boston Terrier Rescue..


Bet you didn't know:

My ancestors came to America on the Mayflower.


Best thing about being a lawyer:

Helping people solve their problems.

Favorite neighborhood in Baton Rouge:

Walden.


What was the turning point that made you decide to become an attorney?

I figured out I was not good in math.


Dog or cat:

Dog.


Mountains or beach:

Beach.


Favorite restaurant in Baton Rouge:

Gino's.


Favorite law school professors:

John Church and Paul Baier.


Favorite sports team:

LSU Tigers.


Culinary talent:

Box dinners, does that count?

 

Hobbies:

Traveling, softball, swimming, playing cards, taking my dogs for a walk, shopping, painting / redecorating.
