The Family Law Legislative Update will include a review of the new legislation passed in the 2021 Regular Session relative to family law issues such as domestic abuse, child support, adoption and new laws relative to the general practice of law such as the elimination of preliminary default and the use of technology in the practice of law. Jessica  Braun will also explore the family law related House and Senate Resolutions and the continued projects the Law Institute is exploring for future legislation.
