August 16, 2018 -BATON ROUGE, LA – The Baton Rouge Bar Foundation is gearing up for its Arts Judicata art and music fundraiser held at The Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge. This event is a celebration of lawyers in the arts, including visual, literary and performing arts. This year the exhibition will feature 20 attorneys showcasing their talents during the Arts Judicata Reception on Thursday, September 13, from 6-8 P.M.

Advance tickets for the event can be purchased at Baton Rouge Bar Association office and online for $25 or at the door for $35. The event will offer art on exhibit and art for sale, so be sure to bring your checkbook to purchase some great pieces. 

The art exhibition will be on view in the Arts Council's Firehouse Gallery from September 4-28. The exhibition is free and open to the public outside of the reception on September 13.

Proceeds from the event benefit the programs of  the Baton Rouge Bar Foundation, including the Pro Bono Project, Teen Court of Greater Baton Rouge, Law Day, High School Mock Trial and Lawyer in the Classroom. 

Renee Chatelain, President and CEO of the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge and Richard Williams, Louisiana Municipal Association are co-chairing the Arts Judicata Committee. Together these two have worked with their committee to make this wonderful fundraiser happen.
