My father, who modeled and tried to instill in me the highest qualities of character, integrity and spirituality.

The part of my job I do best is:

Research and writing.

Little known fact:

I am a scuba diver, and have been lucky enough to dive in many of the most beautiful dive spots in the world.

Family:

My wife, Carol, and I have two wonderful children, Trey and Allyson, who have blessed us with four wonderful grandchildren: Ben, Lily, Amelie and Edison. Our children and grandchildren are the great joys of our lives.

If you could be anyone else for a day, who would you be?

I wouldn't trade my life for anyone's.

Favorite food or restaurant:

La Provence.

Mountains or Beach?

Beach, definitely.

Favorite place in Baton Rouge:

LSU Stadium on Saturday night.

What is your greatest achievement outside of work:

My family.

If I had more time, I would:

Travel more, hopefully with family.

Favorite law school memory:

Multiple memories regarding Professor Litvinoff and his banter with his students, which can only be privately shared.

What drew you to your area of practice:

I was fascinated by the subject of medicine, and lucky enough to be assigned to the defense of hospitals early in my practice.

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be?

Although I love beaches, I would likely try Switzerland for a change of pace.

Favorite movie:

A tossup among Young Frankenstein, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, and My Cousin Vinnie.

What would you do if you won the lottery?

Relax for a change....
