Recently, the United States Supreme Court rejected race-conscious admissions in higher education in a case involving policies at Harvard University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The decision seemingly overturned more than 40 years of legal precedent. The decision has far-reaching implications, some of which will manifest immediately. Others may take decades to fully understand.
