Description:  For most attorneys, Juvenile Court is a different world to which little is known.  The truth is…if your client has children, grandchildren, nieces or nephews then knowing how to navigate in Juvenile Court could be extremely helpful.  This session will discuss the types of cases handled in Juvenile Court such as adoptions, delinquency, voluntary transfer of custody and traffic.  The Deputy Administrator will provide information on where to file suits, payment of traffic court fees and much more.  Participants will also get a “cheat sheet” on “juvie” terms and a flowchart of the basic delinquency and In Need of Care processes.  We will also discuss protocols for virtual court.
