My name is Drew Nordgren and I am a member of LSU’s Trial Advocacy Board. I wanted to send you a short email regarding our Spring Flory competitions and extend an invitation for you to participate in judging one of the rounds. As you might be aware, the LSU Law Flory Trial is an intra-school competition where two-member teams are judged on opening statements, direct examinations, cross examinations, and closing arguments. This spring, competitors will be arguing a civil case, the details of which can be found by clicking by visiting our Flory webpage.
The dates for the competition are:
Preliminary Rounds: February 18th and February 20th
Octofinal Round: February 25th
Quarterfinal Round: February 28th
Semifinal Round: March 4th
Judges are free to volunteer for only one or more rounds; any help would be greatly appreciated. If you are interested in volunteering, please click on the following link and check any times you would be available:
We ask that all judges check in at the second-floor student lounge at the LSU Law Center between 5:30-5:45, with the competition lasting until 9:30-9:45.
Feel free to contact me with any questions.
