SOLACE Request: Assistance Needed for Administrative Assistant Who Lost Everything in a Fire

Dear SOLACE Members,

Georgia, a long-time administrative assistant for a New Orleans Law firm, lost her home last night in a fire.

She is uninjured and came into work today but she lost everything including all of her clothes and other basic needs.

Although her firm has taken up a collection for her immediate cash needs , her financial loss is significant.

SOLACE REQUEST: Gift cards to stores like Wal-mart,  Target, Dillard’s, and Bed, Bath & Beyond or similar stores would be very helpful so Georgia can start to purchase the things that she will need to rebuild her life as she finds a new place to live.
