Dear SOLACE members,

The legal community has once again been struck by cancer. Doris has worked many years in the legal community and recently retired. She has been diagnosed with two forms of cancer. While battling cancer herself,  her daughter Dana  was diagnosed with Stage IV cancer.  Both are undergoing chemotherapy and will need support from our legal community. Right now they are too overwhelmed to identify their needs.

However, Dana is in immediate and desperate need of blood donations. She needs platelets so it does not matter what the blood type is. Blood donations can be made at Oschner Hospital in New Orleans, and I believe Oschner will accept blood credits from blood donors throughout the state. Their contact person will be Irene, a member of our legal community in New Orleans. Irene will be able to provide more specific information.
