BRBF Pro Bono Project to host Legal Fair Saturday, Oct. 1, at Delmont Gardens Branch Library

 

Anyone with legal questions should attend the Baton Rouge Bar Foundation Legal Fair, which will be held 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, 2016, at the Delmont Gardens Branch Library. Lawyers will be on hand to answer legal questions through Ask-A-Lawyer sessions on the issues of family law, SSI/SSDI/Medicare, expungements, landlord / tenant / consumer / contract issues and flood relief.

 

Additionally, presentations on several legal topics will be available from 9:30 to 11:05 a.m., including Social Security Disability, Successions, Expungements, Divorce, Custody and Medical Legal Partnerships.

 

The Baton Rouge Bar Foundation and Southeast Louisiana Legal Services are sponsoring this event. The Pro Bono Project is financially assisted by the Interest on Lawyers' Trust Accounts (IOLTA) Program of the Louisiana Bar Foundation; Southeast Louisiana Legal Services; Franciscan Ministry Fund; Family, District and City Court Filing Fees and the Baton Rouge Bar Association.
