LSU Law Center student to receive BRBA Baton Rouge Legal Scholarship

 

Joshua Tyler Wood, a third-year law student attending the LSU Law Center, is one of two law students who will be awarded the Baton Rouge Legal Scholarship for the 2013 Spring Semester at the Baton Rouge Bar Association November Luncheon at Baton Rouge Marriott in Baton Rouge, La., Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012. The scholarship, a $1,000 award jointly given by the Baton Rouge Bar Association and the Baton Rouge Bar Auxiliary, is presented to an upperclassman who exhibits scholarship, leadership and financial need.

The guest speaker of the BRBA November Luncheon will be Chief Justice Catherine "Kitty" Kimball of the Louisiana Supreme Court. The BRBA has served the legal profession and the community for 83 years. It is the one of the largest voluntary bar associations in Louisiana and consists of more than 2600 lawyers from the Baton Rouge area and surrounding parishes.
