FIRST CIRCUIT ANNOUNCEMENT: Court Order Extends ALL Deadlines Until Sept.12, 2016

Per Order of Chief Judge Whipple, "Acting in accordance with Louisiana Constitution Article V, Section 1, the inherent power of this Court, and considering the extreme conditions associated with the widespread flooding throughout the Baton Rouge area and all of south Louisiana:

IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that all deadlines set by this Court in all cases pending before this Court are HEREBY EXTENDED UNTIL SEPTEMBER 12, 2016. All filings due during the period of August 17, 2016 through September 11, 2016 or which become due during this period shall be deemed timely if filed on or before September 12, 2016.

Parties who are unable to file within this extended time may submit a Motion and Order with supporting documentation and argument requesting re-consideration of timeliness or other such relief.
