BRBA to host continuing legal education seminar at Westin Galleria Houston Hotel Aug. 29-30

Seminar will take place the same weekend as the LSU vs. Wisconsin football game

Baton Rouge lawyers taking a road trip to Houston the weekend of Aug. 29-30 are in luck! They can enjoy their weekend, take in the sights or see the LSU away-game yet still manage to continue their legal education. This is because the Baton Rouge Bar Association is offering a continuing legal education seminar in Houston, Texas, during the weekend of the LSU vs. Wisconsin football game at the Westin Galleria Houston Hotel Aug. 29-30, 2014.

The 9.0 hour credit seminar will include discussion of various topics, including evidence, civil and criminal law updates, ethics and professionalism. CLE has been approved for credit in both Louisiana and Texas. Seminar registration does not include tickets to the game or hotel accommodations.

Organizers of this educational seminar are Judge Guy Holdridge, BRBA President Darrel J. Papillion and Karli Glascock Johnson. Anyone interested in registering for this seminar should visit the BRBA website (www.BRBA.org) or call Meredith French at the BRBA office at 225-344-4803.
