2016 Bar Leaders Announced; Swearing in to be held Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2016, at 3 p.m.

The BRBA is pleased to announce its 2016 Bar Leaders. Elected as BRBA Board officers are Jeanne C. Comeaux (president); Karli Johnson (president-elect); Linda Law Clark (treasurer); Amy C. Lambert (secretary) and Robert J. "Bubby" Burns Jr. (past president).

The 2016 BRBA Directors-at-large are Dennis Blunt, Melissa M. Cresson, Lauren Smith Hensgens, Christopher K. Jones, Melanie Newkome Jones and David Abboud Thomas.

The 2016 Officers and Council Members of the Young Lawyers Section of the Baton Rouge Bar Association are Kara B. Kantrow (chair); Loren D. Shanklin Fleshman (chair-elect); Mackenzie Smith Ledet (secretary); Scott M. Levy (past chair); Chelsea Caswell (council member); Francisca M. M. Comeaux (council member); Jordan Faircloth (council member); and Erin Sayes Kenny (council member).

A tie between Ashley N. Butler and Kellye R. Grinton will require a runoff election for the final seat on the YLS Council.

The Bar Leader Installation Ceremony will be held Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2016, at 3 p.m. at the U.S. District for the Middle District of Louisiana in Courtroom 1 on the third floor. RSVPs required.
