BRBF Easter Eggstravaganza surpasses collection goal by collecting 17,195 plastic Easter eggs

 

The Baton Rouge Bar Foundation hosted its annual Easter Eggstravaganza March 21-24, 2016, at Bernard Terrace Elementary, University Terrace and St. Francis Xavier School. The Easter Eggstravaganza is an Easter egg hunt held at inner-city Baton Rouge elementary schools. Due to donations from the Baton Rouge bar, the Easter Extravaganza Committee provided 17,195 eggs to children at the various schools.

The co-chairs of the event were Erik Kjeldsen, Ashley Meredith and Katherine Dampf, who organized the event along with Carole McGehee, staff liaison to the Volunteer Committee.
