Favorite BRBA project or event:

I love all BRBA projects and events, especially those that educate and encourage our youth (Junior Partners, Mock Trial, Teen Court). I enjoyed the BRBA programs so much that I joined both the Youth Education and Mock Trial committees. Belly Up with the Bar is also a favorite.

Areas of practice:

My primary area of practice is Bankruptcy. I am currently a staff attorney for a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Trustee Dwayne M. Murray.

If I had more time, I would:

Travel the world.

Best thing about being a lawyer:

The best thing about being an attorney is the opportunity to serve others. 

Bet you didn't know:

I've wanted to be an attorney since the third grade.

Currently reading:

The Bible.

Mountains or Beach?

Beach.

Favorite law school professors:

Professor Donald North, Vice Chancellor Roederick White and Professor Dwayne Murray.

Person I would like to have lunch with:

Michelle Obama.

Culinary talent:

I would have to say that my ability to find amazing restaurants is my greatest culinary talent. My smothered cabbage and Italian wings are my best dishes. 

Latest pursuit:

Swimming.

Advice for law students:

Volunteer your time. Volunteering can help you discover what you're passionate about and you would be amazed at how many opportunities will come your way. Also, continue to work hard and don't get discouraged. Believe that you will graduate, you will pass the bar and you will have a successful career.
