Areas of practice:

1) Since July 2008, Director of Collection Division of the EBR Parish Attorney's Office (started as Assistant Parish Attorney / Assistant City Prosecutor in 1994) and
2) small, part-time private practice with emphasis on personal injury and / or representing people.


Mentor:

Frank Gremillion.  No doubt, Frankie G.


Heroes:

1) Parents:  great role models. They retired in the late 1990s and they have been in good health since then, allowing them to enjoy their golden years
2) Mary Roper:  first woman EBR Parish Attorney.


The part of my job I do best is:

Others have to answer this. 


What people don't know about me:

I prefer golf over tennis.


Latest pursuit:

(actually, continous pursuit) ... To be the best person I can be.


Pet peeve:

Lack of loyalty in people.


Best thing about being a lawyer?

The times when you can make someone happy.


If you could be anyone else for a day, who would you be?

Les Miles on a game day Saturday in Baton Rouge against a quality opponent in a last minute win.


Favorite BRBA project or event:

Baton Rouge Pro Bono Project, although I am ashamed to say I have not taken a case in many years.


What was the turning point that made you decide to become an attorney?

Clerking for Brian Williams in law school.


Favorite restaurant:

Jasmine's on the Bayou on Jones Creek Road.

If I had more time, I would:

Play more golf and /or otherwise hang out more with Steven DeBosier.
