My dad, who is also an attorney. He has supported me and guided me throughout my life, especially through law school and my career. He has taught me to always work hard and "go the extra mile," as he would say.

What most people don't know about me:

I was born in New Iberia, La., but I have never lived there.

Family:

I grew up in Lake Charles, which is where my parents, Jay and Fran, live. I have two younger brothers, James and Patrick.

Favorite music/musicians:

Van Morrison, The Band, CCR.

Favorite attorney portrayed in a movie:

Elle Woods.

Favorite food:

Pizza.

Memorable vacation:

Studying abroad in Lyon, France, during the summer after my 1L year of law school.

Currently reading:

The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho.

Advice for law students:

Try to get some practical experience through an externship or clinic or working for a firm during law school.

Favorite or most interesting courses in law school:

Torts, Health Law.
