Chasing after my two girls. Reading and spending time with my husband.

What makes you excited about going to work?

I get to work with amazing, professional and caring people.

What is the biggest challenge facing attorneys today?

I struggle with the transition between electronic and hard copy documents. My inclination is to print everything out, but I'm trying to get used to reviewing things electronically instead.

Best thing about being a lawyer:

I get the opportunity to learn new things every day.

Currently reading:

Our four-year-old has requested the same book at bedtime every night this week -- Aqualicious -- so I'm currently memorizing that.

Education:

I spent way too much time at LSU! First with two undergraduate degrees and then graduate work in English Literature before law school.

Family:

I'm lucky to have everyone close by! My parents moved to Baton Rouge to be closer to us, and my sister also lives in Louisiana. I married into the Boudreaux name, and that side of the family is, for the most part, in New Iberia.

Favorite place in Baton Rouge:

I love the LSU lakes. I wish I had more time to walk (or pretend to jog very slowly) there.

Culinary talent:

My husband is the cook of the family, but I am usually in charge of potato salad for gumbo and devilled eggs.

Favorite law school memory:

It wasn't great at the time, but I now love the memory of taking my first law school exam with Professor Litvinoff, who spent much of the time during the test announcing that students were passing out all over the building and he had called an ambulance.

If you could go back in time, what advice would you give yourself?

To relax! Although I probably should give my current self that advice, too.
